"Don’t be silenced! Verbal proclamation is stillcentral to God’s plan."
Why is it so easy to pray for unreached people on the other side of the world - people we've never met?
Why is it so hard to share Jesus with people on the other side of the room - people we know and care about?
Who have you told about HIM today?
Here's a cool word of encouragement from today's Live|Dead Journal author:

Share HIS love today
Two specific statements struck me, struck my heart, and even my mind: "...without fire in our bones we will get nowhere..." and "My gospel summary has a lot of exclamation points..."
Wow! The passion and the excitement should be there as a natural flow of the Holy Spirit at work within me. So how come there have been countless times when my bones were without fire and my gospel summary was without any exclamation points? All I can do is fall on my face and repent at this revelation. God, please forgive me for my lack of passion about the one thing, the one act that will change forever the course of my life, my friends' lives. I ask that You fill me not to the brim but to overflowing so that my speech is naturally filled with You. Thank You for Your promises because each one is true. My desire is changing as I interact with the Live Dead words and the authors that penned them. I want only to "point people toward their one hope" - to Jesus Christ, our Savior.
My prayer today is that every one of us have the courage to share God's love with someone today. Satan will try to discourage us, to defeat our good intentions. But we are clothed in His armor. We have all the tools we need but if we don't use them they get heavy with dust. So dust yourself off. Shake it off. Do not be defeated.
Very convicting stuff today.
Just had a stressful evening because of a mistake in schedule I made. Kept thinking through the whole thing - remain calm, maybe you'll get a chance to show Christ to proclaim Him. While no "lost" person asked me anything - i did get to model to Morganne and Beth doing what's right, asking forgiveness and talking about how great church we had. All while having a good time with them.
Cool moment for a dad and daughter
