Living
dead will require us to put aside our "tried and true" understanding of
why and how things happen in life. Deny yourself a Western Scientific
answer for a cause and effect.
Humble
yourself and realize that there is another world that does exist. And
ask the Holy Spirit for balanced discernment so as not to get weird,
seeing and blaming all problems on the demonic.
Today write out your prayers. Pray for the power of God to be stronger than the power of Evil.
Let's as a church do battle in the heavenlies.

We Americans are often fearful of spiritual warfare, maybe just because it includes the word, "warfare!" Who likes to be in a battle? But warfare for the Christ follower is a different kind of thing because it is not actually we ourselves who are responsible for the fight.
Psalm 5:11 says in the Amplified Bible, "But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits."
When we put our trust in and take refuge in God, it is He who makes a covering over us and defends us! Nothing is too powerful or can overcome us when we truly belong to Him. When we engage in warfare we can have confidence and, yes, even joy, because we know the One who fights for us and we know our victory is certain.
Father, give each of us courage and confidence as we engage in this warfare. We know that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We also know that Your name is above every name that is named and that the victory has already been won because of the price that Jesus paid. We celebrate, we are joyful, and we thank and praise You because we triumph over all our troubles and sufferings through Jesus Christ! Amen!
God fights for us. He is a mighty fortress, our strength and our shield, who or what can stand before the God of Heavens armies He us provider, healer all praise and glory be to the Lb of God for he has redeemed us!
I think I have always had an aversion to calling something "spiritual warfare." I think a lot of that is the pendulum swing of going against all the stuff I saw growing up where people blamed everything on "the devil."
I can't forget that spiritual warfare, demonic activity, oppression, and the like really do exist. And they exist HERE!
I don't ever want to be lulled into a false sense of security simply because I live in America. It's easy to think of Spiritual Warfare in India or Africa. I must remember that the souls of my neighbors are just as coveted by the enemy as those in a far away country. Why would I think he would fight any less for their souls?
Father, help me be sensitive to the Spirit's leading. Help me pray in the Spirit - and fight the enemy on his territory - with YOUR power.
Father, today teach us your people to be ever mindful of your presence with us. You are more powerful than ANY evil ever will be & I pray that as I & others that believe on you, we fight the good fight of faith, not just for ourselves & our families but for others as well that don't know you at this time. Give us balance today & help us to walk in obedience to you & your call. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to be a part of your Kingdom work, In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Our Father God who is Heaven, we thank you because you are the ruler of the universe and we know nothing is new under the heaven, and all thing are governed by you! We thank you for the POWERS that you have given each of us. To rule, dominate, and subdue the earth and to loose things on earth and in heaven. We thank you for the POWERS and the authority that you have transferred to us through our relationship with you! Father, we thank you that the enlightenment of your POWERS over evil will ALWAYS be victorious!

Father...Help me to discern when spiritual warfare is taking place. Open my eyes to recognize evil for evil and good for good. Lead me in the path of righteousness for Your sake. Give me the power to syop over analyzing everything and focus more on trusting you, thanking you and serving You. Through your grace may all my sins and mistakes be recycled into something good. You promise that all things work for the good to them that love you and are called to your purpose. Help me to stop grumbling and see every obstacle as a footstool for becoming the person you want me to be. Footstools are made for propping up or resting. Sometimes I need to stay at a footstool long enough for you to teach me something and not be in such a hurry. Thank you for choosing me to be your daughter. I pray that as I serve you that others will see Jesus through my life and actions. Forgive me my failures. I love you more today than yesterday. In

I've been fighting it today. Went back and re-read Greg's story. It's a challenge isn't it? When is it spiritual warfare? When is it a bad mood? When is it our own flesh nature or a result of living in this world?
Our response to each should be to run to His presence. If it's spiritual warfare, He fights for me. If it's a bad mood, my flesh nature or a result of living in this world, His presence ministers to me and brings me peace.
Lord, replace our anxiety, fear, doubt and frustration with the sweet peace only You can bring!
Lord forgive me that I have allowed fear of Spiritual warfare keep me from moving forward in battles in my own life and forgive me for my apparent lack of faith in so doing . Thank you for those who are more mature in your spirit than I whose post on this blog are insight for me.

The battles that are being waged all around me are going on - I believe this to be true. All I can ask is that God make me discerning as is stated in today's reading. Give me spiritual eyes is probably the appropriate prayer, but if my prayer is answered and I am able to catch a glimpse of the war, what then must my response be? These lessons are really stretching me!
Yes Lord, please replace all the fear, anxiety, doubt & frustration with your peace. You know where we are at, you know where I am at. Lord, please give us a deeper glimpse of who you are, give me a deeper glimpse of who you are. We need more & more of you, Lord, more & more & more.
Father God in heaven I thank you for your forgiveness of all our sins, I thank you Father God for your healing of all disease and iniquities. I thank you Father God for your tender mercies and your loving kindness.
Lord God I pray for your power on High to overshadow all evil dowers that may try to come against your people as they share your Word to the lost. I pray your protection upon all the missionaries and their families as they travel and live in unsafe and safe places to share, to teach and to preach the Word of God to the un reach people group, to bring them unto the reached people group by the power of God.
Father God I pray that as I read your Word along with Living Dead realizing to be crowned in the whole armor of God is our protection, and that everything that we consider to be bad is not demonic. Sometimes it is just a bad chose on our part and the consequence of our bad choices and our disobedience to you will not bring about a good a reward. Lord God you gave us a will to choose between good and bad and we must accept the consequence of our choice when we choose bad. But In all we do Father God I thank you for being a forgiving God. For Lord God you said in Your Word (Mark 3:28....All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men .... )
I pray this prayer Father God believing in the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I love you Lord God and I give you all the honor and all the praise. In Christ Jesus name I pray, A-men.
My prayer is to first rebuke Satan in his attempts on my attitude and perception of things and let him know I know what he's up to and that I stand with God to fight the fight. I also pray thanking God for renewed strength daily. I recognize the patterns when they come and can tell when I am under attack from Satan or when God is trying to get me to the point that he needs me to be in to really listen to him - which sad to say sometimes is desperation. The goal is to always claim the victory in every situation even if it seems as simple as fighting off bad, sad, or mad feelings.
