Today's author sent this message to us - it's one of the best one's yet. It's about family and what role their children play in the work they are doing.
Please listen to her words. They are powerful.
Then in the comments section - would you post a prayer for the MK's of the Live|Dead teams? Many are facing hard times and difficult situations. The enemy will attack them, if they cannot defeat their parents. Let's believe God together for them!

Lord, I pray for the MKs around the world - especially in the difficult places where persecution and opposition is increasing. Give sttrength to these precious kids. Give them boldness to proclaim Christ and expand their capacity to love the people of the country of their calling. Provide strong friendships for them among the other children in the country, and allow those friendships to serve as catalysts for revival and transformation among the people groups they represent. Jesus, hold these MKs close to Your heart. Let them feel Your love and peace. In Your precious name, Amen.
Jesus loves the little children...all the children of the world...red and yellow, black and white...they are precious in His sight...Jesus loves the little children of the world.
Those words and that little hymn came flooding into my mind as I listened to the spoken words of the author this morning. He does love the children! All are precious in His sight!
Lord, I ask that you engulf the missionary families...but especially the MKs today. Allow them to be a light set on a hill for all to see. Allow their day-to-day walk at school, on the playground, and at home to illuminate Your light...piercing the very hearts of those around them and extending Your gracious love to the reaches of the world. Guide their tiny footsteps as the come and go and provide them and their families blissful rest at night. And finally, as their calling is fulfilled, let those changed by their presence give You all of the praise and glory...for salvation and for restoration.
Lord, I pray for our precious MK's. I thnak you for the gift they are to the nations to which you have called them. I pray for supernatural protection over their lives. Lord would you gaurd their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Guide their feet in safe paths. I pray they would abound in friendships that bring them fun and play and laughter. I pray that the joy of the Lord would be thier strength, and that the strength God gives them would spill over into the people around them. Let them be a source of life and hope to their parents. Let them be a great witness to the love of Christ to those around them. I pray that they would feel a constant presence of the Savior, let them feel Christs deep love for them at ALL times. I believe that we will hear amazing things from our MK's as God uses them in mighty ways to change the hearts of the lost for his glory!
God, protect the MKs. Remind them that a great big, caring God is with them. Give them a comfort and a boldness to do your work and to carry your compassion and love to unreached people. Give them courage to step out in faith and do the hard stuff for your Kingdom's sake. And thank You for those kids and their families for doing what seems like the hardest things for Christ that I can imagine. I don't know how they do it, other than by Your grace and empowerment....
Dear Heavenly Father
I lift up today the children of missionaries, especially in Africa. I pray for their safety and protection. From enemies. From wild animals. From physical diseases.
Help the children see your hand on their parents. Guide them in their decisions. Direct them to share your love with the children around them.
If they are away from their families at boarding school, protect them from depression and loneliness from creeping into their minds.
I pray that you reveal to them how much they sre loved and prayed for. Protect them from being influenced by the wrong things on the internet.
I pray that their friends be Christ centered.
Help them stay focused on their school work.
Bless them with happiness and surround them with love.
I pray that all children respect their parents and get along with each other and their peers.
Thank you Lord for using these families to spread the gospel to a dying world

Last year we joined others from our church in a trip to a country where there are no MK's but we saw first hand how the enemy can oppress the ministers' children in their schools and berate them because they are christians. Whenever we tell others about our trip we always ask them to join us in praying for the native ministers' children. T MK's around the work=ld sometimes face similiar situations. We ask that God hold these dear children in the palm of his hand. Linda and Eddie
Lord I pray that you will inspire these young ones with the power of your love.
I pray they would see themselves as true children of God.
I ask you to protect them, encourage them, bless them.
Help them have a deep relationship with you. Help them grab hold of your presence and power and never let go.
Save them and love them!

Lord, thank you for childlike faith. I pray for these MK's and the light they are in their community. We thank you for your provision and promise in their life.
