DAY 24 LIVE|DEAD GIVING

Today's author shared a video prayer request in his area in the Prayer Meeting yesterday.

We can't post it here because of the nature of the video and the area he is in...but I feel like we should all pray together for this particular need.

Their school in Sudan needs 7 teachers to go teach English.  This is the primary way they impact people with the message.  Would you pray that someone would go to Sudan?

Would you pray and ask God if He wants you to go?

Father, I lift up this couple as they carry the gospel of Christ to the Muslim school children in Sudan. I earnestly pray that you would send 7 new teachers to their school. Lord, I pray that these 7 will choose this day to be obedient to your call on their life.. Father, you know who they are. I pray that they say yes to the stirring of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.

I pray that you bless these missionaries and keep them safe. That your mightly arms of protection guard them and carry them through the storms. Through your Spirit let them feel the prayers of your people today.
Amen

Well, I can certainly say that the messages on Money Matters and the lessons I am learning through the Live Dead experience are ones that will change my life perspective forever! What awesome teachings for such a time as this!

In the past few weeks, we have been selling our "stuff" in preparation for the move. On Friday afternoon, a lady was sharing with me her desire to understand God but struggled with trying to understand answers to the why questions. I began to share with her my own journey and when it was all said and done, she said that she had never heard about this kind of God: one who loves us and cares for us. Her last words to me were "I'm going to have to think about what you've said...it definitely gives me a different perspective to consider." So divine appointments do occur in the most mundane of experiences. Yet, during these moments, they are anything but mundane! My home, my garage, can be such a powerful place to change a life and to share God's compassion to others. Even when the house is showing to prospective buyers, I feel a sense to walk through and say a prayer for those that will enter...a prayer for blessing on their life. Strange, isn't it how a mindset focused on God can affect so many tiny details of life. No, it's not strange...it is actually the way God has designed us to live...in relationship with Him.

Thank You, Father, for desiring such a relationship with me even when I chose not to recognize You. Thank You for allowing my life to touch other's for Your Kingdom. What a day it will be when we can stand together and worship You! I cannot wait!

As we were singing tonight about the awesomeness of God and how He sings over me, I was thinking about the lady that came to buy the garage sale items...the one asking the questions. I remembered that many of the books were books on faith and life and even a copy of a Bible. I pray for her tonight that God will allow her questions to drive her to seek answers found there.

I also pray for those serving in this region of the world. Allow God-orchestrated events to occur even tonight.
