DAY 27 LIVE|DEAD TEAM

Team.

Who are you working with and for?  What team are you on?

Today in the comment area - let's pray for the teams we are on.  If you need a team to be on - ask about it.  Maybe someone on here will have the team - that's right for you!

Lord, thank you for creating within each human a longing to be part of community, to be part of a team. However, this character trait was initially Your's. Your deepest desire has always been for us to have fellowship with You but because of sin, we broke the bond and stepped out of community. Nevertheless, you pursued - and are pursuing - each of us individually in order to regain fellowship. Oh what love You have for Your children!

Today, I pray for the team I have worked with at UCA for the past six years. I pray for each member of the department and college. I ask for Your Spirit to fill that building and move among the leaders. Allow them to demonstrate You to all that would enter. Give those that know You and call you Lord the boldness to stand. I pray for the person that will fill my position, too. Give her a love for the students, a desire to see them develop into effective and caring teachers.

I pray for the new team that I will be a part of at IUSB. Father, allow my life to be like a light for those who find themselves living amid darkness. Allow me to be salt for those who are in search of something more.

I also lift to You the team I am apart of at church - the Backyard team. Father, You have placed Spirit-filled leaders within that team and I thank You for providing in such a wonderful way. The children who come each Sunday morning...may they feel the love - Your love - as it is freely given. Plant the seed within each Backyard child, and nurture it over time, so that they will want to be an active part of a healthy church for life.

And finally, thank You for allowing me to be a part of this study team. I have learned much from the authors of the Live Dead journal. I have also learned much from those who have openly participated in blogging. I pray that You will bless each one and equip each one to the role You would have us fill, as we all work and move and breathe as one body. Thank You, thank You, thank You!
